Confirm that the instrument set up is accurate for the type of material and production method you have selected.Click the Golden Arrow in the upper left hand corner of the screen.Click the Check Mark to confirm the change. Make changes and ensure all fields are complete (you may have to re-select the milling device).If you need to edit the material/production selection, click the Pencil icon to edit.Confirm that the production style is correct for the burs you are using (Milling = Shaper 25, Shaper 25 RZ, Finisher 10)/(Grinding = all diamond burs).(If the case details do not appear automatically, click the icon that looks like a File folder on the right.) Check the Case Details window on the right side of the window.Click Administration at the top of the screen.This Material Requires Different Instruments - If the material and instruments are not compatible (yellow indicator with ! will appear) you will see this message.Invalid Milling Software - If the mill indicates an invalid milling software version (red indicator with ! will appear) use FAQ 22851 to force a software download to the mill.If the device is still unreachable call the PTC to troubleshoot.The mill should remain off for 15 seconds. Save your work, close the software and shut down the AC.Make sure the milling unit is powered on. Unreachable - if the mill is listed as Unreachable (red indicator with ! will appear) it means the AC and mill are not communicating.Now you will be able to click Start Milling. ![]() Click on the picture of the mill so that it becomes highlighted in gold. Ready - If the mill is Ready (green indicator with check mark will appear), but the Start Milling option is still grayed out it simply means that the mill is not selected.Use the steps below that correspond with the message. Place the cursor over the milling unit picture. When in the mill phase, if the start milling button is grayed out check the status of the milling unit by clicking on devices/export on the right side of the screen.
